An Apple a Day

I created this painting on watercolor paper. I applied some textile medium on the the paper. This is my first layer of color for my apple. I love adding the subtle reflections from the color wheel to the fruit.

I believe this is the final product. I started really enjoyed adding a more painterly effect to the fruit on the shaded side to give it more dimension. Of course using a bit of creative license makes a painting more unique if you add your own personality.
